Aviura secures Government Support and Strategic Biogas Supply Partnership for Mauritania Clean Energy Project
Aviura has received supporting letters from the National Observatory for the Environment and Coastline (ONEL) of the Ministry of Environment of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, as well as from the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, marking an important step toward advancing the company’s proposed clean energy initiative in the country. The letters reflect early institutional support for the project and recognition of its potential contribution to sustainable energy development and industrial decarbonisation.
In parallel, Aviura has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SB-GAZ, which will serve as the project’s biogas supplier. The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration on the supply of biogas feedstock that will support the project’s clean energy production pathway.
The Mauritania initiative aims to explore innovative methods for low-carbon fuel production and resource efficiency, supporting broader global efforts to speed up the shift towards sustainable energy systems.
Government engagement and early supply partnerships mark key milestones in the project’s development phase and showcase increasing interest in scalable solutions that can support energy transition targets.
Aviura will continue collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders as the project advances through its next phases of technical development and planning.

AVIURA SIGNS LOI WITH ROBAN RUSH OLEO FOR 20,000 MT/YEAR GREEN METHANOL SUPPLY PROJECT IN MALAYSIA
Aviura has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Roban Rush Oleo Sdn. Bhd. to support the development of a proposed green methanol project in Malaysia, further advancing the company’s efforts to promote low-carbon fuel initiatives in international markets.
Under the terms of the proposed agreement, Aviura would supply approximately 20,000 metric tonnes of green methanol per year to Roban Rush Oleo Sdn. Bhd., supporting the growing global demand for sustainable fuels and low-carbon chemical feedstocks.
Green methanol is emerging as a key energy carrier in the transition toward cleaner fuels, particularly in sectors such as maritime transport, sustainable chemicals, and industrial decarbonisation.
The signing of the LOI establishes a framework for the long-term supply of green methanol between the parties. It signals the beginning of technical evaluations and partnership discussions aimed at advancing the initiative toward a definitive off-take agreement.
The Malaysia project reflects Aviura’s broader strategy to support the development of scalable low-carbon fuel solutions while contributing to the global transition toward more sustainable energy systems. This aligns with Aviura’s broader mission to advance sustainable energy technologies and support global decarbonisation efforts.
Further updates will be provided as the project progresses through its next phases of planning and development.
